A genealogical group welcomes an author for a spring seminar

The Clallam County Genealogy Society (CCGS) welcomes Lisa Alzo, author of several genealogy books and hundreds of magazine articles, to Spring Seminar on Saturday, April 9, held over Zoom.

Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. Session I, “Crossing the Pond: Successful Strategies for Eastern European Ancestor Research,” begins at 9:45 a.m. ‘Immigrants: Past, Present and Future’, begins at 11 a.m. and Session III, “Murder, Mayhem, and Town Tragedy,” begins at 12:45 p.m.

All are welcome to watch at the CCGS Research Center, 403 Eighth St., Port Angeles, or zoom home.

The cost is $50 or $40 for NGCC members.

Alzo is an editor of Family Tree Magazine and a well-regarded webinar speaker. She has spoken at international conferences, webinars, historical and genealogical societies. A passionate genealogist for over 30 years, she specialized in Eastern European genealogical research, writing family history and using history to trace female and immigrant ancestors.
