New York Times best-selling author Celeste Ng to present at the 2022 ALA Annual Conference and Expo in Washington, D.C.
CHICAGO – The American Library Association (ALA) today announced that author Celeste Ng will be presenting at the 2022 Annual Conference and Exposition in Washington, DC, June 23-28, 2022.

Celeste Ng is the New York Times number one bestselling author of “Everything I Never Told You” and “Little Fires Everywhere,” which has been published in over 30 languages and made into a limited series on Hulu.
Ng will talk about her third novel, “Our Missing Hearts”, available in October 2022, a deeply suspenseful and heartbreaking novel about the unbreakable love between a mother and her child in a society plagued by racism, authoritarianism and fear.

ALA’s annual conference invites library professionals at all career levels and from all types of libraries to engage in top-quality professional development opportunities, including more than 160 training sessions, and to have access to the latest information from experts in policy, research and technology during the News You Can Use sessions. There will be over 12 memorable thought leaders and celebrity speakers sharing their unique insights on the main stage.
The Preliminary Planner currently includes a variety of sessions and educational programs hosted by ALA Divisions and Units. The planner will be updated with new agenda content as we move forward into the conference.
New this year at ALA’s annual conference is the digital experience. Those registered for this virtual offer will have access to 42 training sessions, 14 News You Can Use sessions and four keynote speakers. These sessions will be streamed live directly from the conference in Washington, D.C. Registration for the digital experience includes on-demand content for a total of 60 sessions through August 31, 2022.
The Library Marketplace will host many popular exhibits and activities from past conferences. More than 550 knowledgeable exhibitors will provide access to innovative products and services, and publishers will host more than 80 presentations from established and new authors on nine genre-specific stages.
